Join your colleagues in August for a discussion of Johann Hari’s “Stolen Focus: Why You Can’t Pay Attention — and How to Think Deeply Again.” The book looks at a range of things that make managing our attention spans challenging for us and our students, including social media, diet, pollution, and even a lack of free play.
“Stolen Focus” is the Common Read 2024-2025 selection for the English department.
Those attending are welcome to bring their lunch with them.
