Mothra Vs. Godzilla 1964: Godzilla Friday Film Series: Celebrating 70 Years of a Japanese Icon In-Person

This event is the second film in the Godzilla Friday Film Series: Celebrating 70 Years of a Japanese Icon. This series is brought to you by JCCC library through Andrea Thimesch with the generous grant support from Humanities Kansas.

This film will feature a special commentary of the context of the film and Q & A with Godzilla expert, Dr. Bill Tsutsui. 

Film: Mothra vs. Godzilla (Japanese Language, English Subtitles, Color Film) 1964.  This film registration is FULL and a waitlist is enabled

Due to the excitment of the previous film, Check in and Seating for this film will start around 5:45pm. Opening remarks and film showing begin at 6:30pm, and the Q&A should conclude around 9:30pm

Location: JCCC Campus: Craig Auditorium--GEB 233 ( 2nd Floor GEB). 

Movie runtime: 90minutes, and a 1 hour Q& A following.

Rating: This film is "Not Rated". Audiences should use their judgment since this film will be in the original Japanese language with subtitles

 

ASL interpreters will be available for announcements and the Q & A portion of the film. Free popcorn, pop and water will be served.

This event is limited to 200 people. Each film will have its own registration. Waitlists will be added to each showing.
