Godzilla 2014:Godzilla Friday Film Series: Celebrating 70 Years of a Japanese Icon In-Person

This Event is the third film in the Godzilla Friday Film Series: Celebrating 70 Years of a Japanese Icon. This series is brought to you by JCCC library through Andrea Thimesch with the generous grant support from Humanities Kansas.

This film will feature a special commentary of the context of the film and Q&A with Godzilla expert Dr. Bill Tsutsui. 

Film: Godzilla (English Language, English Subtitles, Hollywood Color Film) 2014-- The American monster film from director Gareth Edwards. Produced by Legendary Pictures and distributed by Warner Bros.

Seating will start at 6 pm

Location: JCCC Campus: Regnier Center 101--Capitol Federal Room (Please note this is a different location than the other 2 films in the series)

Movie runtime: 2 hour,  1 hour Q& A and context with Dr. Bill Tsutsui following the film.

Rating: This film is rated PG-13. . Audiences should use their discretion as this film is rated PG-13 for intense sequences of destruction, mayhem and creature violence.

 

ASL interpreters will be available for announcements and the Q & A portion of the film. Free popcorn, pop and water will be served.

This event is limited to 200 people. Each film will have its own registration. Waitlists will be added to each showing.
