This event is designed to connect current and future JCCC students who are interested in a wide variety of STEM careers, including Biological sciences, Physical sciences, Mathematical sciences, Computer and Informational sciences, Geosciences and Engineering. 
 
As our guest at this event, you will enjoy a unique “The Science of Food” steak grilling dinner demonstration at the Wylie Culinary and Hospitality Academy.  
 
Did you know JCCC awards up to 12 scholarships per semester to incoming and current students who plan to study in a STEM field at JCCC and then transfer to pursue a 4-year STEM degree at a university.  While you’re with us on campus today, you’ll hear about numerous math and science careers as well as  learn more about the STEM Scholars Program. 
 
There will be a tour of the new state-of-the-art JCCC Science Building and time for you to enjoy  the 2025 JCCC STEM Poster Symposium, an annual event where current JCCC students display and discuss their research projects with attendees and judges.
