Everyone has a “WOW!” moment when they first walk into JCCC’s Collaboration Center. The CoLab is the place to offer new and engaging experiences for our students. In this session, faculty will learn more about the resources available to them and to students in the CoLab. In addition to daily technology support, event management, and project leadership, the CoLab provides vital connections between the college and the community, from which active learning opportunities emerge. We will offer several examples of successful collaborative activities from the past year. Director Christy McWard and the CoLab team will share with you all the ways the CoLab is here to help faculty ideas and initiatives thrive. We will also provide information about the CoLab’s Collaborative Learning Mini-Grants available to faculty. The session starts with treats and ends with a tour, with fun conversation in between!
